# Staking and Level Ups 📈 Initial staking rewards will be based on Owl Type. But take note, Leveling Up⬆️ your owl will override your Owl Type and your Owl’s Level Up status will be the new designation for staking rewards. Owl Types that are already receiving equivalent staking rewards as their Level Up⬆️ counterparts will be able to “skip” that level of Level Up. ## For Example: Brown/Fool’s Gold Owls earn 1 $HOOT🦉 per day. They are at the bottom of the Level Up hierarchy. Thus, their first Level Up will be to the “Apprentice” Level which would now earn them 2 $HOOT🦉 per day.
